We search Canada’s trademark database and do our best to ensure our designs do not infringe on any actively used trademarks or copyrights. That said, we understand ownership of historic logos and designs can sometimes be complicated.

If you believe we’ve used a design or logo that you own, please send us a quick note along with proof of ownership. We’ll be happy to discuss licensing or remove the design at your request.

Ultimately, this project is about celebrating local history while supporting local journalism. Wherever possible, we’d prefer to work with you to do this.
